How to get to the Chalet

Our Chalet Tambiel with the 2 separate apartments, are located next to the hamlet 'Zum See'. In the immediate vicinity of the wonderful hut-restaurants Zum See, Blatten, Les Marmottes.

Who is on skis on the way from Furi to the valley, his way leads directly to the Chalet . Also on foot you can reach our bijou with a leisurely walk downhill in eight minutes.

Arriving in Zermatt

Zermatt is car-free. Access for private traffic is only allowed as far as Täsch. From Täsch you can travel to Zermatt by train or alternatively by cab service.

Important to know!

There are no shopping stores in the hamlet Zum See. Stores such as Coop and Denner are at the Zermatt train station, open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. Your arrival and departure is self dependent.

 

Your Check-Inn earliest 3:00pm please.

Check-Out latest 9:30am please.

From Zermatt via Furi to Zum See 

As soon you arrived in Zermatt take:  

  • from the train station Zermatt with the free ski bus green line Bergbahnen to the stop "Matterhorn glacier paradise", about 10 minutes travel time, then with the Matterhorn Express cable car to Furi, eight minutes travel time to Furi, get off there, on foot or with ski's you can reach the chalet in a few minutes.
  • Please note the timetable of the cable car Zermatt - Furi when planning your journey.
  • There is also the possibility, only if the road conditions allow it, to be driven with the "electric cab" directly up to Furi CHF 80.-. 


Lighting the fireplace correctly

  • Proper operation will be professionally demonstrated upon your arrival. 
  • Firing may only be performed by adults. 
  • The glass doors must be completely closed during operation. 
  • Lighting is done according to the instructions as shown in the video. 
  • Use should be limited to a small period of time during the day. (In the evening after skiing)
  • The stove must never be fired in continuous full load / continuous operation. 
  • The stove must be constantly supervised by adults.
